PRODUCT NUMBER/SPECIFICATIONS

  • THE TAPE IS ACID FREE

  • ATG 7502 TAPE – IT FITS THE 3M AND SCOTCH DISPENSERS

  • THE ATG 7502 TAPE WILL FIT YOUR 3M ATG 700 (YELLOW DISPENSER) AND SCOTCH 714 DISPENSER (RED DISPENSER).

  • As long as your Dispenser can take a 1 Inch Core (Center of the Tape) and a 36 Yard Roll you will be fine.

HOW TO USE THE ATG-50:

  1. Start by putting the roll of tape on the spool in the middle of the gun with the tape running down clockwise.

  2. It then runs on top of the roller closest to it and then under the roller in the front of the gun.

  3. The liner by itself (the adhesive gets applied at the point of the front roller) then comes back over the roll which is on the main spool in the middle of the gun and then runs under the liner take-up spool (secure the liner in one of the slits in that spool).

  4. Then hold the trigger down when applying the tape (it allows the spools to turn).

  5. To stop applying let go of the trigger and pull the dispenser away.

ATG USER NOTES:

  • When you Dispense the Tape, we've found that you should move at a medium speed. Not slow or to fast. To test the speeds you can look at the side of the Dispenser as you are testing. The Medium Speed is when it is not folding back upon itself.

  • The Metal Wheel: You do not need to tighten the wheel with a Screwdriver. We've found that tightening it by Hand is good enough. Just watch that the tape, which is Folded Inside Tab,  The Black Roller moves downward. This is how we've seen it most effective.

  • If your tape roll works it's way off of the little tab and the tape was going around but the gear was not.  It would turn a little so it looked like it was moving but was not actually turning enough to spin the back gear.  FIX: line that tab up and push their tape wheel down onto it.  That is not in the directions so it is easy to over look.

Mill:

  • A "mil" is a unit of thickness equal to one thousandth of an inch.
  • To convert mil to inches take mil & divide by 1000.
  • Thus, a 2 mil bag would be .002 inches thick.
  • Example: Ex: 2 mil/1000 =.002 inches
